These are just a few pictures from our trip to Florida. It was so good to get away for a couple of weeks and just focus on our family. I am thankful that I have such an awesome family and enjoyed my kids without any other distractions.

As for adoption news there is nothing amazing to report. There have been a few referals trickling in. A major slow down in referals. Ethiopia has been doing some investigating into relinqueshed children. We are told that there is nothing to worry about and this sort of thing happens regularly. It just slows things down on our end.

URGENT NEED

I support a ministry named Bread from Heaven. They support orphanages in various countries. An urgent need has come to our attention in the country of Kenya. A couple there has been running an orphanage for a number of years. His name is Solomon. They had 3 of their own children. 2 of their children passed away last year from an illness. Today Solomon also passed away. It is a heartbreaking story. His wife and remaining child are left to deal with the loss and continue to take care of the orphans.
